Brianne Tomaszewski, PhD, is a developmental scientist and began her work as a Direct Support Provider in 2010, supporting children with intellectual and developmental disabilities and their families in their communities. She currently works at the UNC TEACCH Program as an Assistant Professor. She leads several community-based projects focused on supporting individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities to reach their goals through working with self-advocates, family members, service providers, educators, employers, and government agencies. On BFAST, she has supported using design thinking strategies, data collection, and program evaluation. In her free time, she enjoys spending time with her family, running, reading, and cats.
