With TEACCH since 2019
Wilmington TEACCH Center
I earned a Ph.D. in Clinical Psychology from the University of Delaware, completed a clinical internship at University of Arizona Health Sciences Center, and completed postdoctoral training at Greensboro TEACCH Center and at the ADHD Clinic at UNC Greensboro. Prior to moving to Wilmington and joining TEACCH, worked at ADHD Clinic at UNCG for 8 years providing assessment and treatment services and helping develop, pilot, and run an open trial and an RCT of a cognitive behavioral therapy plus mentoring treatment program for ADHD in college students. Areas of expertise beyond ASD include cognitive behavioral therapy, psychoeducational and clinical assessment, ADHD in children and adults, college student mental health, and young children’s emotional development.
Individual sessions, diagnostic interviews, T-STEP, DBT Skills Training Group, adult support group, and trainings.
Subject areas I would like to collaborate with other TEACCH colleagues:
I would enjoy collaborating on the integration of CBT and TEACCH strategies in the treatment of children, adolescents, and adults. I am also interested in collaborating with colleagues across the state regarding the treatment of clients experiencing suicidality, self-injury, and/or psychotic symptoms.
