Claire Klein is a graduate student in the Clinical Psychology program at UNC Chapel Hill with Dr. Laura Klinger. Originally from San Diego, she graduated from Claremont McKenna College with a B.A. in Psychology and a Leadership Studies Sequence in 2018. Before graduate school, Claire worked as a research assistant with Dr. So Hyun “Sophy” Kim at the Center for Autism and the Developing Brain developing treatment outcome measures and evaluating community-implemented interventions for toddlers with ASD. Her clinical interests include assessment and evidence-based practice across the lifespan for individuals of all abilities. Claire’s research focuses on the TEACCH training program, developmental trajectories of autistic individuals across the lifespan, measurement of longitudinal outcomes, and promoting well-being in older adulthood.
