Asheville TEACCH Center
Prior to joining TEACCH, Britt Patterson worked in community mental health agencies, wilderness therapy, and therapeutic residential settings supporting adolescents and their families. Her professional training includes a MA in Humanistic and Transpersonal Psychology and an MS in Clinical Mental Health Counseling. Britt’s areas of expertise include supporting families with a new or late autism diagnosis and treating adolescents and adults with complex clinical needs.
Subject areas I would like to collaborate with other TEACCH colleagues:
complex adolescent and adult clinical cases, diversity and inclusion, integrating body-oriented approaches (yoga, mindfulness, movement, sensory, bilateral movement, etc), group therapy offerings across centers
