Advanced Diagnosis

  • ECHO Autism sessions are held twice monthly for 90 minutes via Zoom on the iECHO platform
  • We use an All Teach, All Learn model that includes mentoring and collaboration with interdisciplinary specialists and providers across North Carolina
  • Each session includes a brief didactic and de-identified case presentations

  • North Carolina providers who have attended training to learn to administer autism diagnostic measures (e.g., clinical ADOS or CARS) in the past few years.
  • We welcome licensed professionals or medical providers who are interested in gaining confidence in diagnosing autism, differential diagnosis, providing feedback, and offering resources to autistic clients and their families. This series focuses on early childhood (2 years and up) and school-age populations (maximum being adolescence/ college age).

  • Access to interdisciplinary autism specialists
  • Opportunity to increase clinicians’ confidence with diagnosing autism, referring families for services/ interventions in the community, and partnering with families
  • Continuing Education Units (CEUs) / contact hours, including Category A Continuing Education for North Carolina psychologists, are provided for attendance at no cost

  • Complete online pre-and post-questionnaires
  • Regularly attend sessions – make every effort to attend 8 out of 10 sessions
  • Submit a case to present with the group
  • Actively participate in case-based learning by sharing your knowledge and experiences
