Tammy Dawkins is the Assistant Director of the UNC School of Medicine Psychology Internship Program. She is a licensed psychologist who specializes in the diagnosis and treatment of individuals with autism across a variety of ages and levels of functioning. Tammy has participated in various group-based services including kindergarten prep, GoriLLa group, and Facing Your Fears. She also helped to create the curriculum for the TEACCH School Transition to Employment and Postsecondary Education Program. She has co-facilitated parent support groups in the clinic, led parent workshops, and been an active member of TEACCH training teams including Fundamentals, and 5-day hands-on training for elementary/High School as well as for adults.
