Sue Carson

Areas of Interest
As Project Coordinator, Sue manages study operations for Dr. Tomaszewski's growing research portfolio, facilitating teamwork with co-investigators, research assistants, interns, consultants, university administrators, and TEACCH study participants. She also enjoys extending the team's capacity for collective impact partnerships engagement. She’s worked in many program administration and resource development roles including earlier career service with UNC-CH’s Office of Human Resources and with nonprofit service providers focused on education, human services, and public health. Sue is a long-time resident of rural central NC, she is especially passionate about applying her lived experience to support research and advocacy to serve individuals and families in rural areas.
