Clinical Instructor, UNC Department of Psychiatry
About
Discipline: Social Worker
Juliana Vossenberg primarily works with children under the age of 6 and their families, but provides intervention services to youth of all ages. In addition to individual intervention sessions, Juliana is involved with TEACCH’s GoriLLA group, a group-based service for school-aged individuals. Juliana is particularly interested in addressing barriers and disparities that impact access to early intervention services for autistic youth and their families. Additionally, she is interested in empowering parents with the knowledge and skills they need to support and advocate for their children. Juliana believes in the importance of using an autistic-affirming, trauma-informed, and strength-based approach with all her clients at TEACCH.
