Summary Statement:

Jemma Grindstaff is the Clinical Director of the Carolina Living and Learning Center (CLLC), a residential and vocational program for adults with profound autism. As an ICF-IDD, the CLLC provides active engagement and treatment for our residents across a variety of skill areas: social, emotional, communication, leisure, vocational, and adaptive behaviors. We also promote person-centered planning and positive behavior support. To that end, the CLLC invests in the personal development of all our staff, from direct support professionals to supervisors and case managers. We are also exploring how best to modify our program as we accommodate the needs of our aging residents.
