Learning Styles in ASD and Structured TEACCHing Strategies Overview

This half-day training will provide an overview of the unique Learning Styles of Individuals with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD). Participants will learn about the components of Structured TEACCHing strategies and how to individualize these strategies to meet the unique needs of children and adolescents with ASD. The format of this training will include presentations and videos.

Objectives:

Upon completion of this training, the participants will be able to:

  • Understand the unique learning styles of children and adolescents with ASD
  • Create meaningful and individualized visual structure for students with ASD
