Karen Hall is a psychologist at the Raleigh TEACCH Center and a Clinical Assistant Professor in the Department of Psychiatry at UNC. Karen specializes in the identification of neurodevelopmental differences and conducts diagnostic evaluations for autism spectrum disorder. In addition to her diagnostic work, she co-leads skill-based groups for school-aged children. While Karen enjoys working with individuals across the lifespan, she has a particular interest in supporting early learners and school-aged populations with success in their everyday environments, including at home and in the classroom. Karen is also a former educator and has extensive experience teaching and coaching teachers. She enjoys working with parents and other professionals to identify and implement strengths-based approaches based on an individual’s learning style.
