Greenville TEACCH Center
About me: I grew up in Maryland and moved to NC to go to college and stayed! – I have been married for 37 years and have three grown children. Two of our sons live in the Raleigh/Chapel Hill area and our youngest is 27 and he has ASD and lives with us. My college major was child development and I completed requirements in my 40s to become a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist. I worked in public and private practice with a variety of DD and Mental Health diagnoses. Prior to working here, I was involved in many projects with TEACCH and it is very special to me.
Subject areas I would like to collaborate with other TEACCH colleagues: I am particularly interested in girls with ASD and carry a large caseload of female clients. I also enjoy any opportunity to collaborate on the parent’s perspective and always enjoy learning about new interventions.
