Dena is an adjunct faculty member at Towson University/Ph.D. candidate at Adelphi University. An appointed member of the federal Interagency Autism Coordinating Committee (IACC) and the co-chair of the Autistic Researcher Committee (ARC) for the International Society for Autism Research (INSAR), she led the INSAR SIG (Special Interest Group) on “Building on the Strengths of Autistic Scholars by Addressing Systemic Barriers to Autistic Success in Academia.” She is frequently published and provides consultative and lectures internationally.
