Alexis Rhames is a Staff Psychologist at the Charlotte TEACCH Center and a Clinical Assistant Professor in the UNC Department of Psychiatry. Alexis received her Ph.D. in Counseling Psychology from the University of Missouri-Columbia. She has been working in the autism field since 2019 and is passionate about addressing healthcare inequities through clinical practice and research as well as increasing access to knowledge and services for individuals with autism from historically marginalized backgrounds. In her free time, she enjoys listening to podcasts, blogging, attending live music concerts/festivals, and traveling.
