TEACCH has a long history of providing on-site trainings, workshops, and consultation to programs across the United States and around the world. The trainings are designed to meet the specific needs of the local system and are based on the training and workshop models used in North Carolina. Trainings have occurred in many states in the USA and countries such as Japan, Sweden, Canada, Israel, Germany, Denmark, the UK, Ireland, Greece, and many others. Training models include the Fundamentals of Structured TEACCHing (two or three day), a combination of lectures, activities based on case scenarios, large and small group discussions and the intensive 5 Day Hands-on Training which features a demonstration classroom with “student-trainers”. Programs interested in hosting a TEACCH training need to contact the TEACCH Director of Training as well as complete the TEACCH .
