Description:This one day workshop is for parents or caregivers of newly diagnosed children with autism spectrum disorder and parent who want to implement structured teaching strategies at home with their children The day includes small and large group discussions, presentations, and a hands-on Make It Take It component. We will address issues relevant to children of all ages and ability levels. Content:The day includes small and large group discussions, presentations, and a hands-on Make It Take It component. We will address issues relevant to children of all ages and ability levels. Selection:Registration is based on a first come, first served basis. Cost:Fees include all materials, snacks and drinks: - $ 50.00 per person for North Carolina parents/caregivers Information:CHANGES AND CANCELLATIONSCancellations received less than three business days are subject to a $25 cancellation fee. Refunds will not be granted after the program has begun. A substitute participant may be designated in place of a registrant who cannot attend. TEACCH reserves the right to cancel, post-pone or combine class sections; to limit registration; or to change instructors. TEACCH will make every effort to notify participants as soon as possible of any changes or cancellations.
