As a former academic with the University of Melbourne, I coordinated the Master of Education (Special Education, Inclusion and Early Intervention) course. Currently, I am Assistant Principal at Eastern Ranges School which is a specialist school for students with ASD. In this current role, I am responsible for the Curriculum, Teaching and Learning within the school and I provide Professional Development to schools within the regional network. I have been instrumental in the coaching of staff on TEACCH principles and application of Structured Teaching across the whole school. I coordinate and deliver an accredited course: Advance Certificate (Autism Spectrum Studies) which is in partnership with Australian Catholic University. Currently, I am an Honorary Fellow with Australian Catholic University. On a part-time basis, I provide consultancy to parents who have children with ASD and other developmental disabilities, and service providers who are seeking support when working with children and families.
