Fee for Services FAQ
1. What services does TEACCH provide and which services are you charging for?
TEACCH, a University based empirically supported diagnostic, intervention and training program provides a wide range of services to support individuals on the autism spectrum as well as their families and local community groups. Due to the generous support of the state of North Carolina and individual donors, we are able to offer services at a free or discounted rate.
Many of our services are free of charge: Initial Family Consultations, Phone Consultations, Support Groups and Parent Lectures.
2. Will I be billed for phone contacts or email contacts when I have questions I need to discuss with the clinic director or therapist?
No. Phone and email consultation remain free of charge, and we encourage you to use these ways to communicate with us. In certain situations, we may recommend a fee-based service to resolve the issue presented, but the choice to take advantage of that service will be yours.
3. What is the cancellation or no-show policy?
It is very important to call our office as soon as possible if you know you will not be able to show up for your scheduled appointment, preferably 24 hours in advance. You will be charged for any sessions that are not canceled 24 hours in advance.
